Associate Architect (Residential)

Salary : £40000 – £47500/annum
Conrad Consulting, in partnership with one of Manchesters most reputable firms are currently recruiting for a Senior or Associate Architect.
This company is situated in central Manchester and has a well structured Senior management team that supports a wide range of repeat, end-user clients. They are now looking for this Senior/Associate Architect to compliment their existing team of Architects, Technicians and Designers to contribute towards their existing portfolio of exciting Residential & Commercial projects.
The Senior Architect will be placed in a strategic role; with day-to-day senior-level responsibilities within the studio and contributions to the design output of the studio forming the main part of the role. Eventually you may take on more business development and other such responsibilities, but for now we are simply looking for a quality, job-running Architect.
This position will be best suited to a Qualified Architect currently working in a senior role within a similarly forward-thinking company.
The Key Responsibilities of the Senior Architect will include:
Management of day-to-day tasks and activities.
Management of projects from start to completion ensuring timely and effective delivery of the solution into production.
Taking a lead-designers role.
Be confident, with a professional attitude and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Inspiring colleagues and mentoring colleagues.
Core Requirements include:
RIBA/ARB registration.
Minimum 5 years post qualification experience (UK based preferable).
Sound understanding of UK Planning and Building Regulation process.
High level of design competency. A proven record of delivering quality designs across various project sectors. (Residential & Commercial projects preferred).
Fluency in AutoCAD and REVIT, InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite.
A competitive salary is on offer of up to £47,500 per annum.
