The Hawth Theatre is looking for an experienced and multi skilled technician with a probable bias towards sound operation/design to join our team working on a varied programme of touring and in house productions.
The Hawth, Crawley opened in May 1988 and is managed by Parkwood Theatres on behalf of Crawley Borough Council. The continuing presentation of shows, productions and events at The Hawth to a very high standard is a priority for both the Company, customers and our Client.
The Venue comprises an 850 seat proscenium arch Main Theatre and a 146 seat Studio Theatre. Both spaces, as well as the grounds surrounding the Venue, are capable of being used in a multitude of formats and layouts which is reflected in The Hawth’s extensive range of programmed arts events and activities.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of some or all of;

Digico SD12 sound consoles
*
Counterweight flying and rigging
*
Stage management and show operation
*
ETC EOS Family lighting consoles
They will be able to demonstrate
*
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical theatre and equivalent qualifications such as ABTT Bronze Award
*
A basic understanding of electricity and electrical safety
*
A willingness to work evenings and weekends
