Senior Technical Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £50000 – £70000/annum
Our client is a fully remote studio looking for a Senior Technical Game Designer to join their team.
They work only on PC/ Console AAA games and have some of the best Designers around. No matter where you are in your career, constant learning from amazing people is sure to be something you will get out of these guys.
As a Technical Designer, you will be responsible for:
Working closely with the design and engineering team to help architect new features, liaising between them to ensure features and tools meet all requirements.
Understanding and expanding existing systems, or creating new game systems if necessary
Building and implementing player-facing features and UI
Able to do rapid prototyping to proof game ideas
What you need to have:
3+ Years of professional experience within a PC/ Console gaming environment, ideally having released at least 1 project.
Hands-on experience with design tools, and proficient with game engines like Unity / Unreal.
Proficient in a scripting language like C#
Experience with Visual Scripting, and excellent debugging skills
