Pertemps are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our market leading / luxury brand for a Design Assistant.
As a Technical Design Assistant you will be joining a fast paced leisure wear design team.
Main Duties of the role include –
Supporting and assisting the design team in their day to day duties including filing, post and managing the storage of sample materials
Providing technical support to the design team including generating costings and measuring grade / pilot garments
Using pattern work and measurement charts
Communicating with suppliers and with other departments including purchasing, technical teams, sample cutters and machinists
Prepare and manage ranges for photo shoots (checking model samples)
The ideal candidate will be competent with using various Microsoft packages (Excel, Word and Outlook.) Interested in fashion / design be well organised, able to manage priorities and work to critical path deadlines.
