Credit Controller
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £20000 – £25000/annum
Our established and succesful client, based in the Cheltenham Town Centre is looking to add an experienced Credit Controller to their finance team.
The role reports to the Finance Manager.
The purpose of this role is to manage the credit control together with some accounting functions.
Key tasks:
Liaise with Finance Companies
Issue finance agreements
Handle queries and documentation on direct debit finance and insurance defaults
Maintain spreadsheets and cash book
Process payments and agents reconciliations
Monitor and pursue overdue payments by telephone and email
Issue credit control letters
Reconcile the aged debtor report weekly
Provide Reception cover when required
Candidates should possess the following skills:
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Previous experience in a credit control role
Experience in basic accounting
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. with a one hour unpaid lunch break
Holiday: 31 days per annum including Bank Holidays
Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience
Pension and Death in Service schemes available after a qualifying period
