This is a Temporary Role

What you’ll be responsible for:

* To carry out tasks assigned to you by the Head Cook/Deputy Head Cook.

* In the absence of Head cook/ Deputy Head Cook inform relevant teams of any menu changes or dietary requirements and reorganise menus and production in a timely manner so as not to impact on service delivery.

* Prioritisation of work to enable food to be produced in a timely manner for food service.

* To work closely with other ‘Team Members’ to ensure high quality food it produced.

* To follow cooking techniques and procedures as specified in departmental procedures.

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

* GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent qualification

* 706/1 or equivalent NVQ Basic Food Hygiene

* NVQ Intermediate Food Hygiene

* Excellent customer service

* NHS experience

* Reliable and hard working
