Interior Designer Job in Farringdon, London
Our client is looking to fill an Interior Designer Job with their commercial architecture and design firm. Located in Farringdon, our client is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join an established team. Your role will see you involved in workplace/commercial projects across London, working across all stages of design. The position is open to strong Mid-Weight Interior Designers or recently promoted Senior Designers. Offering a salary of up to £45,000 + hybrid working + career progression.
The practice has a team of interior designers and technical staff that work on projects across London, typically workplace projects up to 80,000sqft. Due to an increasing portfolio of work, the business now needs to expand its team and is looking for someone with strong client-facing skills, a creative approach to designs, and ideally, prior experience leading projects.
Role & Responsibilities
Assist in the production of 2D technical designs and 3D rendering
Bespoke joinery detailing in AutoCAD
FF&E selection and specification, establishing concept proposals within budgets
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers
Take the lead on smaller projects
Site visits and overseeing installations.Required Skills & Experience
Ideally degree qualified in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar
4+ years' experience in workplace design (from architectural/traditional firms)
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Suite
Revit experience is strongly preferred
Client-facing and on-site experience.What you get back
