The bits we need your help with as an account manager
To develop and grow new customer revenues within the cloud services team account base. Primarily existing account focussed, tasked with growing revenue and gross profit with existing customers as well as re-seller customers when required to do so.
Responsible for developing on-going relationships with customers to cross sell other cloud services.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
• Qualify enquiries and inbound leads from email, phone, website, events and other channels
• Ensure company CRM database(s) are continually updated with changes and additional information as soon as this becomes apparent
• Promote company products / services as an account manager
• Assist with vendor / product specific call out days.
• Provide account management into 700+ cloud services customers
• Identify cross selling opportunities within the cloud services customer base
• Responsible for smaller, new name cloud services opportunities
• Develop, build, and nurture relationships with existing customers to maximise cross sell opportunities
• Work closely with all the Cloud Services team to hit monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
• Maintain excellent communication with other departments in the organisation to facilitate client requests
• Ensure company CRM database(s) are continually updated with changes and additional information as soon as this becomes apparent.
• Support the cloud consultants with administration/sales tasks where required
Aptitudes / Skills / Abilities
• Proven inside sales experience.
• Strong phone presence and experience of handing high volumes of outbound calls.
• Strong listening and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills as an account manager
• Understanding of managing revenue and profit streams.
• Ability to effectively utilise CRM tools to monitor performance and effectiveness of sales account management.
• Demonstrate ability to evaluate and balance individual workloads through effective time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
• Analyse leads, opportunities, and business wins to identify further potential new business opportunities.
• Customer service skills
• Understand the implications of customer complaints and basic handling under the supervision of relevant line manager
