Job Type : Permanent, Contract, Full Time

Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum

We are working exclusively with a client in Carterton who are recruiting a Logistics Co-ordinator to work in their friendly logistics team for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

You will be a key member of the team and will be reporting to the Logistics Coordination Manager

The Logistics Co-ordinator duties will involve:

* Providing freight quotes

* Resolving and dealing with Non-Conformance Reports and Customer complaints

* Ensuring accurate data is maintained on database

* Managing key accounts in Hong Kong, Colombia and Dubai

You will also provide holiday cover for each Logistics Co-ordinator as and when required which includes :

* Ensure timely stock booking of inbound/outbound operations to maintain consistent stock accuracy

* Ensure correct tariff headings are assigned to products inbound/outbound

* Ensure compliance with all customs and clearance regulatory requirements

* Ensure inbound and outbound deliveries are transacted in a cost-efficient manner ensuring VAT and duty is minimised and incurred only when necessary

* Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure Customer orders are delivered on time and in good condition

* Work closely with the Procurement and Warehouse teams to manage the supply chain and supplier lead times

* Book and manage the entire transport process of outbound goods with the

appropriate third-party hauliers

* Create, review and process shipping documents as required – inbound/outbound

You will have logistics experience, knowledge of Incoterms and be IT literate in word/excel/ERP systems.
