Senior Interior Architect (Luxury Hotel)

I am currently representing a global luxury interior design firm known for creating dynamic, sophisticated and engaging spaces that stand the test of time. Internationally renowned for their luxury hotel design the studio also delivers high-end residential developments, commercial properties along with custom furniture and product design. Based in a beautifully designed office in west London, this role is offering hybrid working along with fantastic company benefits. Hybrid working (3 days a week in the office, 2 days from home).
Job description:
I am looking to speak with talented and experienced Senior Interior Architects with a passion for luxury hotel design. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing projects to completion, overseeing a team of designers and ensuring that the final outcome meets absolute design excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage the design team in the creation of innovative and functional interior design concepts that meet the specific needs and objectives of local and international luxury hotel operators.
– Develop and produce detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications and schedules in collaboration with the project team.
– Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
– Provide technical expertise and guidance to the design team, ensuring that all design solutions are code compliant, safe, and fit-for-purpose.
– Review and approve shop drawings, samples, and mock-ups, and provide ongoing support and advice to the construction team during the implementation phase.
– Manage and monitor project timelines, ensuring that all project milestones are met and that any issues are addressed proactively.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in materials, finishes, and technologies.
Requirements:
– Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
– Experience in producing bespoke FF&E along with having a good knowledge of suppliers.
– Extensive experience in luxury hotel interior design.
– Strong design skills and a proven ability to produce innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces.
– Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of designers and collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and consultants.
– A strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction techniques, with the ability to produce accurate and detailed technical drawings and specifications.
