Our high profile client in the automotive industry is currently looking to recruit a VRED Specialist, based on site in Coventry, Warwickshire

• A VRED specialist required at our Clients’ Tech Creative Centre, a need for an adaptable, resourceful and self-motivated artist.

• You will have a keen eye for detail with excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to take on a wide range of tasks.

• The agile team at the Client is expected to be pragmatic about working methodologies and constantly push the department forward with enthusiasm and talent.

Main Tasks:

• Work with the Head of Visual Communications to ensure all CGI outputs are delivered on time and of high quality.

• Quickly and efficiently prepare high quality NURBS data with VRED for use in real-time reviews, still imagery and cinematic films.

• Maintain intricate VRED master files used for real-time design reviews across multiple live projects.

• Work collaboratively with exterior, interior and CMF designers on the latest design themes.

• Assist in VR collaboration reviews, both internally in the design studio and with other Client studios across the globe.

• Contribute new ideas to the development of presentation in real-time, VR and MR.

• Conducting design reviews with the Clients’ senior management, making sure presentation is of the highest standard.

Person Specification:

• Previous experience in CGI and the automotive industry.

• Fluent in English.

• A strong communicator with excellent presentation skills.

• Demonstrate a strong drive, independence and confidence as well as operating as part of a team

• Structured, methodical and analytical with good planning skills.

• Flexible and able to work under constrained time schedules and frequently revised circumstances.

• This role is for someone that understands the day-to-day tasks of an automotive design studio, they’ll combine technical rendering with digital art.

• The ideal candidate would be extremely driven, creative and efficient with their time.

• You must be comfortable working closely with Creative, Design and Senior Management teams in a collaborative approach to deliver projects in a time-sensitive environment.

• Knowledge of Python scripting in VRED is a desirable skillset.
