Company Profile
Our client is seeking a timber frame designer to join their successful production team at our manufacturing site on the outskirts of Kettering. A successful candidate will provide designs and manufacturing information for a range of different projects.
To be successful in this Design role, you will need to have:
· Proficient with Autocad software.
· Experience using industry specific software's (eg. Consultec, Woodengine, Mitek Pamir, Wolf).
· Experience in timber frame design.
· Good understanding of timber frame systems / technical knowledge of timber frame systems.
· Good understanding of timber floor systems / technical knowledge of timber floor systems.
· Good understanding of Roof truss design / technical knowledge of Roof truss design.
· Excellent communication skills to be able to liaise with architects, engineers and clients.
In your role as Timber Frame Designer you will be tasked to work closely with your colleagues, clients and Architects to ensure timely delivery of projects. You will be responsible for providing clear and concise drawings for both our manufacturing facility and our site teams.
