Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum
Design Engineer required. My client is an international leader in manufacturing polymer sealing solutions to many industries. They are now looking to expand their airframe and aero-engine seal design team with a Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Mechanical Design, have Catia experience, will be degree qualified and will be local to Swadlincote.
Design Engineer Position Overview
Introduce a new product range whilst working with Project Management and Commercial Development teams to achieve this
Design of airframe and engine seal solutions
Produce costing and BOM's
Planning of projects
Creating manufacturing drawings, technical proposals and concepts
Management of data configuration and ERP configurations
Work to continuously improve product range
Design Engineer Position Requirements
Preferably 3 years Design Engineering and Production/Manufacturing experience
Experienced with using Catia
Experienced with using Abacus
Strong understanding of Engineering Fundamentals
Qualified to degree level in an Engineering/Product Development discipline
Based locally to Swadlincote
Design Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary £30,000 – £35,000 DOE
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:45-8:15 to 16:30-17:00, Friday 7:45-8:15 to 12:30-13:00
32 days holiday including bank holidays
