Salary : £26000 – £28000/annum + 5 Weeks Holiday, Parking
Job Opportunity: Play Designer who will be joining a play sector design team who are responsible for designing innovative playgrounds and play areas throughout the UK. On offer is a salary of between £26,000 and £28,000 plus five weeks holiday plus all bank holidays, a pension and retail discount scheme.
As the Play Designer you will be joining an experienced team that look to deliver innovative playground and play area solutions for a diverse range of clients across several sectors.
The Play Designer will be:
* Producing detailed AutoCAD playground and play area layouts.
* Producing image boards using Adobe Creative Cloud for both new and revised projects.
* Quantifying designs and sourcing market value costs for materials.
* Working closely with the sales team to fully understand requirements to be able to design the best solution.
* Producing technical drawings for play equipment.
* Working on multiple projects at the same time.
The Play Designer will need:
* To have experience of using AutoCAD and ideally Keyscapes.
* To have a good understanding of V-Ray and 3DS Max (or similar programs).
* To have used Adobe Creative Suite and Excel (with the ability to use formulas).
* To be driven, enjoy problem solving, have a willingness to learn and develop new skills and have a creative flair.
* If you have direct play design experience that would be good but if you don’t and you have layout and usage based experience (kitchen design, bedroom furniture design, hard landscaping etc.,) then that would be welcomed too.
On offer is a salary of between £26,000 and £28,000, 25 Days Holiday plus all Bank Holidays, Pension & Retail Discount Scheme and Parking
