Audio-Visual Design Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £32000 – £35000/annum 20 days holiday plus bank holiday
Design Engineer required. My client is a provider of high-end audio-visual solutions. Due to growth of the company my client is looking to recruit a new Design Engineer to join their existing team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial audio-visual design and will be familiar with Communication and video conferencing systems and will be based locally to Bristol.
Design Engineer Position Overview
Meet with clients and complete a full and detailed survey to better understand the client's needs and expectations.
Take charge on their own system design on each project and produce all the necessary documentation from inception through to completion.
Complete all technical documentation for each and every project, including system designs, drawings, schedules and schematics.
To be a source of help and assistance with any pre or post sales technical advice or enquiries.
Produce complete technical drawings and designs for each client / area.
Make comprehensive testing documents, including the user acceptance testing (UAT) for each bespoke system design, and help the company's workshop team carry out and testing required before the final product is delivered and commissioned.
Design Engineer Position Requirements
Qualified in Electronic Engineering
Previous experience with Commercial Audio-Visual Design
AutoCAD 2D and 3D experience required
Experience using Stardraw beneficial
CTS Certification beneficial
Previous experience in a Design role essential

Salary – £32,000 – £35,000
Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30
20 days holiday plus all bank holidays
