Are you a qualified Art Teacher seeking their next rewarding role in an outstanding secondary school? We are currently recruiting long-term, short-term and day to day teachers who can choose their working availability.

Our partnership school is based in Aston, Birmingham and this role is a long-term position starting in September 2023, with a permanent position available. You must hold an updated DBS on the update service.

The successful candidate must have an excellent subject knowledge along with the ability to teach a variety of abilities, providing engaging lessons to meet the needs of pupils. To be considered for this role you must also be able to build strong relationships with students, be inspiring and approachable. Our partnered school offers an excellent support system for staff members, along with outstanding department resources available to use.

REQUIREMENTS

QTS holding teacher.
Key stage 3 and 4 experience.
Has a passion for the subject, able to forecast this on to students.
Able to teach across a variety of learning abilities.
Have a DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

Teaching classes of up to 30 pupils.
Have vast knowledge and understanding of the art and design curriculum.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
Assess and monitor students progress across the academic year.
Encourage and motivate the learning of the pupils.
Prepare and implement lessons to a high standard.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
