We have a fantastic opportunity within our Digital Team as a Social Media Officer at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association.
This role is responsible for increasing awareness of motor neurone disease (MND) and the MND Association through the effective use of social media channels and digital marketing tools.
A key purpose of this role will be building supporter advocacy through social media channels to maximise engagement. You will effectively manage our social media channels to develop and publish engaging and inspiring content that engages and motivates our wide range of audiences.
This is a collaborative role where you will be working with teams across the organisation to create co-ordinated and targeted content. This could range from providing full support (planning, creating content, posting, responding) through to supervision and consultancy.
What are we looking for?
Someone who is passionate about social media with up-to-date knowledge and experience of working across a range of social media platforms, with awareness of emerging trends and developments in digital technologies.
Significant experience of managing social media platforms in a professional environment using organic and paid techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build successful relationships with stakeholders via social media.
A creative and collaborative approach.
