Sustainability Manager
As the Sustainability Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives that align with our company's goals and objectives. You will play a pivotal role in leading our efforts to achieve net-zero emissions and carbon neutrality. Working closely with directors and managers you will ensure that sustainability is integrated into all aspects of our operations and supply chain. You will also contribute to shaping our overall business strategy to align with sustainability principles.
Sustainability Manager
The role:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that outlines clear goals and targets for achieving net-zero emissions and carbon neutrality.
* Identify and implement initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase energy efficiency, and promote the use of renewable energy sources.
* Conduct regular assessments of our operations and supply chain to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to achieve sustainability targets.
* Work closely with the procurement team to establish sustainable sourcing practices, including selecting environmentally friendly materials and suppliers.
* Drive initiatives to minimise waste, promote recycling and circular economy principles, and reduce the environmental impact of our products and packaging.
* Stay updated on relevant regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends related to sustainability, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and certifications.
* Prepare regular reports on sustainability performance, collect and analyse relevant data, and monitor key performance indicators to track progress towards net-zero emissions and carbon neutrality.
About you:
* Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability standards (e.g., ISO 14001), and industry best practices.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives.
* Familiarity with carbon footprint analysis, greenhouse gas accounting, and renewable energy solutions.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the company.
* Experience in integrating sustainability into supply chain practices and overall business strategy.
* Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change.
