Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working in partnership with a hugely successful multi-disciplinary practice in Birmingham city centre, seeking to appoint an Architect to join their growing team.
The practice operate out of two locations in the UK, with offices in Birmingham & London with the West Midlands office being the head office. The company is home to a range of talented and like-minded individuals, with teams in Architecture, Project Management, and Surveying. Due to sustained growth and a solid pipeline of work, the Birmingham office is now seeking to appoint an Architect within the team.
The Architect for this position will ideally have demonstrable experience of working within the Residential sector, along with the added benefit of having worked on Education schemes also. The practice work in Education, Residential, along with some Commercial and Emergency Service schemes.
Skills and qualifications of the Architect required as follows:
Qualified Architect with UK recognised qualifications at Part 1, 2 and 3 level.
ARB registered / RIBA chartered
Approximately 3-5 years of post qualification experience
Experience of working in the Residential sector is essential, along with the added benefit of Education and Commercial experience.
Comfortable in a client facing role.
Job running capabilities would be desirable.
Contract administration experience.
Strong technical ability including producing working drawings, construction packages and architectural details.
AutoCAD proficiency is essential, Revit knowledge would be a benefit.
