Production and Efficiency Manager – Fruit / Fresh Produce

Our Client is a successful Grower of Fruit and supply to the major retailers. They now offer the opportunity to become a key member of the business as Production and Efficiency Manager
Reporting to and working closely with the Operations Manager, the position of Production and Efficiency Manager will play a key part in the daily management of the busy packhouse operations, effectively and positively managing the team (c40) to achieve customer standards, meet product specification and expectations with efficient packaging, quality control, despatch and haulage.
Planning, labour management, Yield Information and Packaging Control are all key to this new role.
We require;
Fresh Produce / Fresh Food sector experienced individual
Confident ability within a fresh product / fresh produce packing facility
Personable, encouraging, and hands-on management approach and experience
Knowledge of expectations and standards required in the supply of fresh product to retail customers
The position of Production and Efficiency Manager is a key role within the company and the successful individual will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate the team to exceptional work standards to enable the supply of high quality product.
Salary: c£40-43k
Location: Angus, Scotland
Shift/Hours: 4 days-on – 4 days-off in the Summer / 5 days in the Winter (flexible due to seasonality)
