Embedded Test Software Engineer

Salary : £50000 – £60000/annum
Working in one of the few companies to have the NI Centre of Excellence certificate, an Embedded Test Software Engineer vacancy has opened due to the continued success of the company.
The successful Software Engineer would be working in a core team of 5 people with a high level of experience. Everyone in this team is highly capable and could pickup any of the work at any given time.
There are often challenges around cooling and the measurement of performance of CPU’s. They collect lots of data around this and you will be working to tweak the environment to get maximum performance. You will be working on the latest components as this company always looks to stay ahead of the competition and upgrade as soon as the next generation is available.
You will likely have strong Linux knowledge and have experience tinkering with Linux Kernel, Drivers or processes. The successfully candidate will also have C programming skills as well as automation knowledge using Bash or Python.
