Junior CAD Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £20000 – £25000/annum Depending on level of experience
Working with a specialist land and utilities surveying practise based in the Colchester area the Junior CAD Technician will work with surveyors to produce detailed CAD models using AutoCAD both on 2D and 3D. The role would suit a someone looking for their first position as a CAD Technician or someone looking to develop further.

40 hours per week working between 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday some flexibility on hours is available

Duties:
Take information from surveyors to produce accurate and detailed CAD models.
Utilise AutoCAD in both 2D and 3D, training can be provided for 3D.
Responsible for the CAD work from initial drawings through to delivering the project to the client.
Working on topographic surveys, land surveys, building elevations and floor plans as well as highway surveys. Creating both cross and long section drawings.
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience using AutoCAD is essential
Previous experience of geotechnical or surveying CAD drawings would be advantageous but training will be given for the right candidate
Video or photographic media experience would be an asset.
