HP Ingdigo Operator / Digicon Operator
Location: Buckinghamshire

Company: A leading packaging and self-adhesive labels company.
Role:
* Operation of print finishing machinery with accuracy and efficiency
* Setup, control, and run print finishing machine and rotary die cutting and QC inspect product, according to standard operating procedures and work instructions
* Monitor quality and consistency of product, identifying and remove all non-conforming product, set up and in-process waste, and place into correct waste stream
* Ensure maximum material utilisation and a reduction of wastage of all materials
* To always understand and work to BRC Packaging & Printing Issue 6 standard
* Housekeeping
Requirements:
* Experience running HP Indigo machines – will consider large format / commerical / packaging / labels
* Experience within the labels/ print/ packaging industry preferred
* Ideally experienced working on Digicon S3 (2020) previously with additional lamination, foiling and complex print units – preferred
* Other slitting, rewind and finishing equipment will be considered
* Ideally technical knowledge of digital label printing, materials, and tooling (but training can be given)
* Ability to work well under tight deadlines for projects of various size and scope
* Positive "can do" customer focus and attitude
* Develop knowledge of materials available
* Use initiative and resourcefulness to develop new methods, or propose new solutions
* Maintain operating procedures with attention to detail
