We now seek an experienced Chef to join our Senior School on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As part of our team of Chefs, you will prepare and produce balanced and nutritious meals safely and efficiently for our Senior School.

Serving customers and replenishing counters throughout meal service, you will monitor waste levels and ensure that you always work hygienically. You will contribute to menu development and improvements on a periodic basis and assist at school functions.

You will also work within prescribed budgets and ensure that correct portion control procedures are enforced and report issues as they arise.

Additionally, you will:

– Comply with all HACCP and Food Safety requirements
– Record all temperatures of food in accordance with procedures
– Accept and monitor deliveries (in the absence of the Store Person or Team Leader)
– Assist the Head Chef and Catering Manager

About You

To be considered as a Chef, you will need:

– Experience of high-volume catering
– Great communication and customer service skills
– A passion for food
– To be adaptable and flexible
– A basic food hygiene certificate
