A company that provides textiles for luxury hotels and cruise liners has created a new role for a Surface Pattern Designer / Print and Pattern Designer
THE COMPANY
A home textiles brand in the heart of Lancashire – they create beautiful products that are mainly featured in luxury hotels and cruise ships, but they also sell a select range directly to customers via their website. Due to a boost in business on the hospitality/contract side, they are expanding their product team and have a new vacancy for a Designer.
THE ROLE
* Working on a diverse range of products across Bedroom, Living Room, Kitchen, and Bathroom textiles
* Developing and designing all-over-prints, graphics, and illustrations
* Developing trend packs
* Market and Trend analysis, developing concepts to target trends
* Attending trade fairs in the EU and overseas
* Completing comp shopping trips
ABOUT YOU
Demonstrable experience in a print / pattern design role. This could be in home textiles but could also be in wallpaper, stationery or other surface pattern products. You will have a commercial portfolio demonstrating your CAD skills. The role can be flexed depending on experience whether you’re a graduate or an experienced Designer. Due to their location, you must have a driving licence and access to a car.
