Site Secretary / Document Controller

Berkshire Talent Partnership are proud to be working with a leading infrastructure and energy developer as they begin the construction phase of an exciting new energy storage project. This developer manages all project construction and operations in-house and as such have an opportunity for a Site Secretary / Document Controller to join their project team, based in the project construction office.
This role will work closely with the on-site Project Leadership team to provide administrative support to project office and support the on-going operations at site.
Responsibilities will be across two areas – Secretarial and Document Control.
* In the secretarial area you will be responsible for general activities to ensure a smooth-running project office including areas such as calendar / diary management, maintaining project team & staff contact lists, managing and updating filing and answering the phone.
* In the document control area, you will coordinate with project staff to ensure documentation is received and filed correctly, work with subcontract & consultant partners to receive documents and correctly log. And importantly use the Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) to store & retrieve project documents as required.
The successful candidate will be an excellent team player, have strong attention to detail, be organised and logical in their processes and have prior experience of working with an EDMS platform. It is also preferable if you have prior experience working in a similar on-site role
