We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper / Cook to join a wonderful household located in Warwickshire. The Principal resides in a beautiful 5-bedroom house nestled within a 24-acre estate. The household is deeply committed to an eco-friendly lifestyle, valuing sustainability and seeking innovative, eco-conscious solutions. Ideally, we're looking for someone who shares this passion for eco-friendly living and products.
This multifaceted role primarily involves hands-on housekeeping and family-oriented cooking. The family follows a vegetarian diet, with a particular appreciation for Indian cuisine. While proficiency in Indian cooking is a plus, a diverse range of global vegetarian dishes is also cherished. We welcome individuals who align with these beliefs or simply have an affinity for a healthy, active lifestyle and enjoy utilising produce from a kitchen garden.
Key Responsibilities (not limited):
Comprehensive housekeeping duties
Laundry and ironing
Meal preparation for the family
Maintenance of hot-tub and keeping garden furniture tidy and usable at all times
Occasional ad hoc tasks as required
Key Experience:
Proven experience in a similar role with verifiable references
An all-rounder with discretion, friendliness, dependability, and proactive work ethic
Self-motivated, discreet, and possesses a full UK driving licence
Job Details:
Candidates are to follow a vegetarian lifestyle
Property details: 5-bedroom manor house spanning 3 floors
Accommodation will be provided within the family estate
Working week: Monday – Friday, 40 hours with flexibility for occasional weekend work
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 DOE
Location: Full-time, permanent position
