Machine Shop Sales/Estimator
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £38000/annum
Our client is a thriving, engineering company who manufacture a variety of parts and components for customers all over the world.
Utilising the latest equipment and technology they have an enviable reputation in the engineering sector, manufacturing to the highest quality.
They employ around 90 staff at the site in King's Lynn and have a dynamic and friendly culture within the company.
Due to continued success and expansion they require an Estimator to manage the companies extensive customers to quote and estimate for work for the machine shop.
We are looking for someone who has a strong background in CNC machining with the understanding and experience in the estimating processes.
What you will be doing:
* Managing new business projects
* Liaise with clients to understand their requirements
* Develop relationships at all levels of the supply chain
* Provide new business opportunities within appropriate industries
* Produce accurate and competitive quotations
* Resolve customer related issues in a timely manner
This role could suit an experienced machine shop expert who may want to move away from the day to day 'hands on' machining aspect of the role.
Salary to suit experience circa, 25 days plus bank holidays, pension, overtime
