My client is a leading independent pensions, investments and employee benefits specialist providing bespoke services and solutions to small and large businesses.
Due to a growth they are looking for an Actuarial Consultant to join their friendly team.
Responsibilities include:
* Analysing data and preparing calculations relating to pension schemes
* Liaising with Investment Managers and clients
* Reviewing letters and reports for review from junior colleagues
* Accounting disclosures
* Actuarial costings
* Suggesting changes for improvement
Qualifications for this role would assume some experience working in the pensions industry
* Highly Numerate and literate
* Commenced actuarial exams
* Aptitude to continue progress with actuarial exams
* Ability to absorb technical information
* Strong communication skills
* Technical calculations
* Passes in several actuarial exams, close to part qualification as FIA or FFA
