The successful candidate will work with customers to help them optimise the performance of their herd and put them in control of the changes that can impact on the success of their farm and help them reach new standards.

We require an enthusiastic, passionate, and professional Regional Business Manager, who can support our client’s existing and new customers with their purchase decision and after-sales requirements. Proficient in selling to progressive, technology-driven farmers, the successful candidate will join our client’s exciting team and become an advocate for their brand.

Responsibilities:

* Providing exceptional customer service to enhance the overall customer experience

* Collaborating in a dynamic and goal-driven team environment

* Quickly adapting to changing business needs by developing both short-term and long-term sales strategies

* Creating and executing monthly and quarterly sales plans to meet revenue targets for new and pre-owned equipment

* Continuously assessing and improving performance through analysis of metrics and risk factors

* Ensuring machine specifications meet customer expectations by following established processes and procedures

* Utilizing CRM tools to track activity, sales pipelines, and revenue metrics

* Building strong relationships with accredited service centres and dealers to uphold key brand values and maximize post-sales opportunities

* Partnering with commercial, marketing, and after-sales teams to implement operational plans aligned with strategic objectives

* Assisting colleagues with regional and national events, as well as business improvement and innovation projects

Candidate Requirements:

* Ideally proven sales record and business development experience in agriculture or similar sectors; right attitude and aptitude with little or no selling experience will be considered as extensive training provided

* Experience building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders

* Knowledge of livestock production systems and Irish agricultural issues is beneficial, especially for conveying value propositions

* Strong business acumen with familiarity in commercial finance solutions

* Skilled in managing the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification to closing deals

* Self-motivated and driven to meet and exceed targets, aligned with long-term business goals

* Confident communicator with excellent presentation and forecasting abilities

* Task-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, even under pressure

* Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)

* Full clean driving license required

Remuneration:

Salary base lies between €35 – €45k with a significant bonus component that will reward up to €100k+ pa in total. Own car required which is fully expensed.
