We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Engineer to join a dynamic team. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and assembling a variety of equipment, machinery, or tools within the workshop environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for engineering problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities as a Workshop Engineer:
Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose faults, service, repair, and test a wide range of machinery or tools.
Assembly and Installation: Assemble and set up new machinery or equipment as per manufacturer guidelines.
Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance on workshop tools and equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs and maintenance work meet quality standards and are completed within the agreed time frames.
Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to workshop safety standards and procedures, including risk assessments, safe handling of tools, and maintaining a clean and organised work space.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service logs, inspection reports, and parts usage.
Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team and provide technical support when required. Skills and Qualifications Essential:
Proven experience as a Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and workshop machinery.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.Desirable:
Vocational or technical certification in engineering or related field.
Knowledge of specific equipment relevant to the industry (e.g., heavy machinery, automotive, etc.).Personal Attributes

Based in a fully equipped workshop environment.
