Kitchen Assistant Job Details:
* 40 hours contracted
* Permanent position
* 8am – 4pm
* £12.07ph with paid breaks
* Includes working every other weekend
Kitchen Assistant responsibilities:
* Assist with meal preparation, ensuring dietary requirements are met
* Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
* Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
* Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines
* Support kitchen staff with general tasks and organisation
* Ensure food is stored correctly and within safety standards
Kitchen Assistant requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Kitchen Assistant in a care home desirable
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
* Ability to work well within a team
