About the Role:
As Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in both the preparation and service of high-quality food within a busy contract catering environment. You will be responsible for:
* Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a high standard, adhering to set recipes and specifications.
* Maintaining a clean and organized work station, ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations.
* Working effectively as part of a team, contributing to a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
* Delivering exceptional food and service to guests, contributing to a positive customer experience.
* Working across different sections of the kitchen as required.
* Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with:
* Proven experience as an experienced Chef de Partie or Sous Chef or above.
* A passion for food and a commitment to quality.
* Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate (desirable).
* Experience in a contract catering environment.
* Must be able to work at the Weekend
