Assistant Site Manager – No 2 Site Manager – Residential – High volume – Developer
My client is a small to medium sized residential property developer who operate throughout East Midlands delivering quality homes for private sale. They currently have between around 20 live projects with around 6 projects due to commence in the next coming months along with healthy number of projects in planning which will see them steady for work for the next 6 years or so.
The business requires a number of experienced Assistant Site Managers to be based on sites in Nottingham. These projects vary but are predominantly high volume, multi-phase traditional build schemes. Experience working on similar projects is essential.
Duties will include –
* Manage a team of Site Supervisors/Operatives/Sub-contractors to ensure compliance and standards across the division.
* Take a pro-active role in dealing with relevant Sub-Contractors on site
* Ensure health & safety standards are never compromised and that processes and documentation is regularly reviewed and maintained.
* Lead the team by example, promoting values and development opportunities.
* Too understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time.
* To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
* Ensure project is on track according to original project plans
Needed –
* Previous experience assisting /running a busy Residential Construction Site.
* Previous experience managing sub-contractors on a Construction Site.
* Attention to detail
* Good communication skills
* Organised, motivated and strong planning skills
* Proven people leadership skills
