The purpose of this role is to help develop and manage the commercial event opportunities for the business' festivals and venues portfolio across the UK & Ireland. Your role will start by understanding the company's processes and resources for how commercial agreements and proposals are put together, eventually doing this independently in a role that supports senior management, developing into client management once agreements are made. Motivated by delivering best in class bar and catering operations for new and existing venues and events (such as Wembley Arena, Winter Wonderland, Camp Bestival and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium), you'll be responsible for the commercial management with the client/venue ensuring they're running as efficiently as possible, maximising new opportunities where suitable. You will work closely with internal commercial and operation's teams on these event proposals, diligently managing the commercial operation and responsibilities from start to finish. The length of client management contract varies from seasonal to ongoing commitments. The candidate will need to have strong commercial acumen, be a self-motivator, capable of working independently at times on multiple event projects happening at once whilst maintaining a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy on their projects.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Managing clients and relationships from a commercial perspective to enhance revenue and performance
Develop detailed understanding of our venues and events to improve service
Being flexible on working across a wide variety of events and within the entertainment sector
Creating commercial proposals for new venues, turning around proposals quickly and with quality
Working with the team to understand the details that go into proposals from a data, demographic, and an event understanding
Communicating findings to colleagues and clients in a clear and concise way
Supporting the commercial development and growth within the business
Producing relevant and insightful event reports where needed
Attending site visits, meetings and events across the UK
Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of event requirement needs e.g- products, calendar changes and advise others of any impact
Desire to progress and learn about the events and entertainment sector
