T2M Resourcing are working on behalf of a highly successful manufacturing group with an annual turnover in excess of £100m who have an opportunity for an Accountant who is ambitious and part qualified CIMA. The company will provide long term career development, study support and opportunity. They are looking for a bright and ambitious individual with some experience of working in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
This is a visible role in the business and as Accountant you will report directly to the Financial Controller and work with colleagues across the manufacturing and sales operations to provide analysis of costs and pricing data ensuring robust processes are in place.
As Accountant key responsibilities will include:
* Support business performance success through the provision of financial analysis and KPI review
* Partner with manufacturing and sales teams to gain a thorough understanding of manufacturing costs. Bill of Materials and product pricing, ensuring quality data flow
* Actual costs variance analysis to forecast wit explanations and correction of costs into the master data system
* Project costing tracking and performance reporting
* Inventory / stock accounting and balance sheet reconciliations
To be successful as Accountant you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
* Part- qualified accountant keen to complete CIMA studies
* You must have previous experience of working in a manufacturing or engineering company with knowledge of costing, pricing and inventory / stock accounting
* Good level of IT skills including Excel and ERP systems such as JDE, SAP or M3
* Great analytical skills with attention to detail and committed to continuous improvement
