About the Opportunity:
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking two managers at their Bicester office who will provide professional accountancy services to their fee-paying clients. As well as supporting the director responsible for the office, you will work with other senior staff to manage the daily running of the office as well as supporting junior staff in their day-to-day work.
About the Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Liaising with clients (individuals and businesses) and providing financial information and advice
* Reviewing year-end accounts and corporate tax returns
* Completing self-assessment tax returns
* Maintaining accounting records and preparing accounts and management information for small businesses (accountancy)
* Planning jobs for both self and others
* Responsible for billing, fee reviews and new client quotations
* Reviewing the work of junior colleagues and supporting them through their studies / apprenticeship
About the Applicant:
The successful candidate will be:
* Qualified ACA/ACCA with experience of working within practice
* Able to demonstrate financial management experience and legislative compliance with the ability to interpret relevant legislation to clients
* Knowledgeable of accounting systems including Sage, QuickBooks & Xero
* Able to deliver a high-quality accountancy service to clients with excellent technical knowledge
* Strong & empathic communication skills at all levels and with both clients and colleagues.
* Able to network and gain new business and also comfortable working independently
* Mobile and flexible to work in other Company offices and clients sites as needed
* Good IT skills with the ability to work without close supervision
* A people person who is a team player and willing to help at all levels
