Accounts Manager
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £40000/annum
This is a fantastic career opening for either an ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant to manage their own portfolio of clients in this modern, forward thinking firm of accountants. An Accounts Manager position offering hybrid working.
This role will report directly to the Practice Manager and entrepreneurial Directors who are committed to a steady and achievable growth strategy. They now seek an experienced and self motivated Accounts Manager to join their small and growing team based in Guildford.
The duties are varied and typical for an Accounts Manager – to include the following:
Production of annual accounts for small limited companies, contractors and sole traders
General bookkeeping including VAT Returns
Assisting with self assessment Tax Returns
Providing general financial advice and business guidance
Some supervision of junior staff and reviewing of their work
The ideal applicant for this Accounts Manager role will have at least three years of experience of working within a Practice environment and must enjoy being the first point of contact for a wide client base, so strong communication skills are essential.
The company offer a competitive salary, a good team environment with a close knit team of experienced staff. Based in Guildford the role is commutable from Epsom, Leatherhead, Redhill, Reigate, Woking and surrounding areas.
