Red Snapper Justice are part of a niche recruitment agency, who provide staffing services to the offender management and criminal justice sectors.

We are recruiting on behalf of our Criminal Justice client for an experienced Administrator / Executive Assistant. As the Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the Scheme Manager / team to ensure efficiency in cohort selection, review and de-selection.

The role is temporary ongoing until April 2022 initially. Based in central Northampton with a mix of remote working.

Pay is dependent on experience.

Main Duties:

* Act as point of contact for referrals to the scheme

* Source information from relevant IT systems to support referrals in a timely manner

* Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative systems which support departmental development

* Prepare referrals for meetings

* Update master spreadsheets with decisions and rationale to allow for cohort management and to inform performance management

* Attend and take notes/actions at meetings as required, including the Multi Agency Case Conference and the Multi Agency Practitioner Meeting

* Update flags on both police and probation systems

* Liaise with partner agencies and other relevant probation and police teams with regards referrals

* Co-ordinate meetings, invites, note taking and distribution of actions

* Support police and probation officers with administrative functions

* Liaise with partner agencies to ensure records of contact for cohort members are up to date.

* Attend training as and when required, including all mandatory training

* To undertake other duties commensurate with the nature, level of responsibility and grading of this post, as required

Essential Requirements:

* Proven experience in an administrative role delivering to a high standard

* Administrative experience within a Police or Probation setting will be advantageous

* Proven experience of using a range of software applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel (Advanced) and Word

* An understanding of equality and diversity issues appropriate to the role

* An understanding of pro social modelling when communicating via telephone with cohort members, to demonstrate the principles of the scheme

* Experience of handling restricted and confidential material

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

* Ability to work both alone and as part of team

* Comprehensive understanding of Excel and its use for performance analysis

* Full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle

This role will be subject to vetting.
