Salary : £30900/annum + commission

We are recruiting for an experienced Advertising Sales Consultant to join a successful publishing company based in central Edinburgh. Monday – Thursday 9am-5.30pm, Friday 9am – 5pm. Office based.

* Selling of magazine, supplement, wall planners, product guide, digital sales, podcasts, eshot etc.

* Maintain and develop established customer and prospect database.

* Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed budgets

* Manage personal time and productivity.

* Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods

* Internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.

* Use and update relevant information on CRM system.

* Respond to and follow up sales enquiries.

* Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide reports.

* Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.

* Attend and present at external conferences within the UK

* Attend training to develop knowledge, techniques and skills.

* Ensure that magazine page plans are completed accurately for production on time along with Editorial Coordinator

* Advertising sales experience essential

* Good communicator with excellent people skills

* Strong Microsoft Office skills and working knowledge of CRM systems essential

* Driven with willingness to learn and evolve with the role

* Good organisational and time management skills
