Aircraft Safety Equipment Technician

Our Client is one of the country's leading repair, service and maintenance organisation and they have several major contracts with aircraft companies. Due to an extended period of full order book they require an additional technician / fitter to join their team .
The main purpose of the role is to overhaul and repair of various aircraft safety equipment and associated sub-assemblies; which include escape slides, rafts, life jackets, survival kits and water makers. The role will involve disassembly, test, fault find and repair of the equipment using company manuals and guidelines.
To be successful in this position we require the candidate to have experience of working with aircraft safety equipment, repairing and packing of aircraft safety equipment, specifically life jackets, escape slides and inflatable rafts.
