Our client is an award-winning multi service provider in the UK facilities sector. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager for this area your primary function will be delivery of service standards around cleaning and any additional areas that might be required.
The Area Manager will be responsible for cleaning operations in up to 30 convenience sites in and around Buckinghamshire / Northampton
Main duties: –
* You will be required to manage the day-2-day operations for the client’s sites in a particular area
* Total management of budgets, wages ensuring targets are met
* Conduct quarterly audits on cleaning services for your area
* Ensure KPIs are consistently met in store and at area level
* Recruitment. selection, development of your team
* Training, coaching staff to required level
Experience: –
* Multi-site cleaning management experience in retail is preferred but not essential
* Excellent organisation skills, pro-active, flexible, and respected
* Excellent interpersonal skills including leadership, negotiation and influencing
* Ability to work under pressure with effective problem-solving skills
* Proficient in IT and the use of Microsoft Excel, Word & Email software
* Team player
* Good communication skills
Role requires working 40 hours a week, 6 days out of 7, and will involve working some weekend shifts.
Candidates need to be skilled at working in a fast-paced environment for a very demanding client.
This role would suit someone who is used to Multi-Site Cleaning Management in a fast-paced retail environment.
Candidates must have a full and valid UK driving licence and live in Milton Keynes / Northampton and be prepared to travel daily.
