This boutique RIBA Chartered practice has been established for over a decade now and have amassed a portfolio that boasts an array of aesthetically outstanding, high-end residential projects; each with their own unique style and character.
An opportunity now exists for an experienced Architectural Technologist with a passion for creative, high-end residential design to become a part of their collaborative and cohesive studio where members of the team are empowered with the freedom to act and take decisions independently within their role of a project.
The ideal Architectural Technologist/Technician will have experience delivering private residential projects from through RIBA stages 4-7.
The role will see the Architectural Technologist contribute on technical matters, produce tender and construction packages, co-ordinate work by external consultants, conduct site inspections as well as administer JCT contracts and issue all related instructions, documentation and certificates.
We are looking for an independent, highly motivated individual, with a strong and authoritative attitude, combined with a flexible and collaborative approach towards clients, consultants, and the team internally.
Architectural Technologist Requirements:
Relevant Architectural Qualification
Min 2 years UK experience delivering medium to high-end residential projects – Essential
Demonstrable experience in taking projects through RIBA stages 4-7
Excellent communication skills and confident in a client liaising role
Outstanding organisational, time and people management skills.
Extensive knowledge and experience administrating JCT contracts (MW & IW)
Basic knowledge and understanding of BIM concepts and workflows
Excellent ArchiCAD skills (strong Revit users who are happy to migrate will also be considered)
Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations
