Description:
The Design Executive will support the application of the brand guidelines and visual identity to produce high quality customer and commercially focused creative materials across all channels. Creatives will need to engage with customers in a compelling way, ultimately driving revenue and a high and demonstrable return on investment.
Responsibilities:
Support the Design Manager in the creation of artwork and templates for Marketing campaigns and internal communications
With the rest of the Marketing team, act as a brand guardian in terms of look and feel of content, and tone of voice of copy
Produce documents, presentations, brochures, posters, print adverts, digital formats for website, social media assets, CRM, and direct marketing
Enhancing and resizing image assets where required.
Manage and produce the publication of the weekly newsletter
Prioritisation and scheduling of multiple projects to ensure timely delivery
Use of an agreed briefing template to record requirements and internal client needs / timescales
Development of first stage design concepts, graphics and layouts for consideration
Working in partnership with internal client to evolve and finalise creative, amending final designs and confirming final approval
Preparation and distribution of final artwork files in different formats as required
Job Specific Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to deliver projects on time and to company standard.
Experience in corporate design with emphasis on internal communications and creating brand integrity across all projects
A creative flair, with the ability to visualise, as well as convey a message into relevant and interesting creatives
Proficient in creating editable templates for Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
Experience with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop. etc)
Possession of a creative flair, versatility, conceptual / visual ability and originality.
Demonstrable graphic design skills.
Strong computer skills. (Mac operator)
Highly proficient in all design aspects.
Experience and knowledge of photography and video production/editing using Adobe Premiere Pro is desirable but not essential.
Self-motivated, pro-active and team orientated.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to deliver against plans and targets.
Brand ambassador who cares about brand integrity and who can actively use the brand guidelines.
Education:
Ideally degree or diploma educated to a good standard in a related subject such as graphic design, illustration, fine art or other relevant subject.
May have advanced diploma and/or technical qualification.
