Major Recruitment are working behalf of an established client to recruit for an experienced Insights and Marketing Manager.
Role:- Insights and Marketing Manager
Location:- Leeds
Salary:- £32,000 – £38,000
This role will heavily involve concentrating on the analytical and data side of the role with a key focus on developing key insights that drive customer retention, reactivation and recruitment within allowable parameters.
The duties will include but aren't limited to:-
Managing the customer database with the objective of maximising the house file size.
Using data analytics to help identify ways of improving Retention, Reactivation, Recruitment
Working with the Marketing Director and the Head of Ecommerce to create and utilise accurate and up to the minute measurement tools.
Communicating results succinctly to the business at specified times – including (but not exclusively) the weekly update (online and offline), the monthly marketing report and the end of season wrap up.
Create ad-hoc marketing reports as and when required.
Use results to identify opportunities and help create strategies to maximise them.To work with the team to devise and execute remedial strategies if we fall behind target.
Work with the Marketing Director, Head of Ecommerce and Finance Director to produce the annual online and offline budgets for the business.The ideal candidate will possess or be able to demonstrate the following:-
A solid understanding of all marketing channels – both on and offline
In-depth knowledge of the marketing planning process
A good grasp of customer database methodology and application
Strong numerical and analytical skills – with emphasis on results measurement and response forecasting to contribution level
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior managers
Able to fully utilise the relevant IT support systems, and to be conversant with standard business desktop applications, especially Excel.
A good understanding of print processes and ability to manage relevant supplier
A good understanding of the UK postal system
Strong planning and organisational skills
