Design Technology Technician

Vision for Education are recruiting for a Technician of Design Technology for a secondary school based in Blackpool to start December 2022.
About the role
We are looking for a DT Technician to start at Blackpool secondary school.
Duties include preparing resources, materials, equipment for lessons as directed.
You will be assisting pupils in the use of various equipment, including a laser. Assisting with practical learning activities and tidying up the workspaces after use. Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
This role will start December 2022 or earlier, and will be ongoing.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Design Technology Technician you will:
Have relevant experience in the same or similar role
experience using a laser
Practical knowledge required for setting up equipment and resources
Be adaptable and flexible
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
