Monday – Thursday 8.00-16.30 Friday 8.00-12.00

Ideal Recruit are working with a leading manufacturing organisation in Nelson who is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and professional Sewing Machinist to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.
Duties shall include but are not limited to:
Ensuring the material and label is correct for the production order.
Advising problems with quality or condition of materials as soon as possible.
Stitching the component pieces together using flatbed machines.
Ensure the process is completed with maximum efficiency and highest quality.
Ensure the completed pieces are passed to the next stage in a suitable condition.
Daily maintenance of individual machines.
Maintain sufficient stock of thread and labels per machine.
Abide by the Broken Needle Policy at all times.
Abide by the Foreign Object Policy at all times.
