UX Designer

As a Customer Experience/ UX Designer, you will be working across our NHS SBS portfolio of products, sites and services. Collaborating closely with product teams across the organisation, you will play a valuable role in designing user experiences.
This role will play a key part in establishing and understanding the needs of our users and will advocate an evidence-based approach to support design decisions. You will help advise the strategy, objectives and KPIs for each project and use your core UCD and UX skills to create innovative impactful solutions. You will be an advocate for user experience design and help to drive the awareness and adoption of user centered design processes across NHS SBS.
What you will be doing:
* Leading on and defining user experience, principles, approach, and planning on cross team projects.
* Translating requirements into design solutions, wireframes, prototypes and user journeys.
* Designing digital products that tackle user problems and deliver the goals of NHS SBS.
* Facilitate workshops to identify user and business requirements.
* Collaborating with product, agile delivery teams in defining requirements and producing user stories and supporting assets.
* Coordinating and delivering user testing sessions and ensure customers are integral to the design process.
* Establish mobile and desktop UX UI patterns for both internal and external customers and apply them across the range of products.
What you will bring:
* Strong experience leading design and UX from the beginning to the end of a project.
* Expertise in UX design, wire framing, prototyping and mapping user journeys, alongside using UCD and service design processes and techniques.
* Experience facilitating workshops to support requirement gathering and idea generation.
* Expert knowledge of prototyping and design tools such as Figma, Miro.
* Experience of working in an Agile Scrum development environment.
It would be good if you had:
* Public sector experience.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with stakeholders and clients at all levels.
