IT Resilience / Operational Readiness Analyst

Salary : £50000 – £55000/annum poss northward flex + bonus
As the longest serving PSL partner for IT recruitment into this global bank we have been asked to assist in the hire of an individual to join as Technology Resilience / Operational Readiness Analyst.
You will be joining a newly formed focused team responsible for supporting and overseeing operational resilience across the EMEA Technology landscape. We see this as an exciting opportunity to a focused team that sits within the wider service delivery / service management unit for a global bank.
Following a MsTeams call with the hiring manager these are the key attributes needed in this role:
Experience of working within an IT infrastructure / IT operational environment.
Operational resilience / Disaster recovery scenarios
Ability to facilitate / bring people together to ensure project success
Service Transition experience
ITIL
ITSM Toolsets including ServiceNow helpful
Industry experience of IT Service transition in a financial institution preferred
Helpful: technical understanding of the infrastructure stack (networking, voice, storage, virtualization, compute platforms [server and desktop], data centre management, capacity planning, event management etc.)
Dept. Overview:
Technology Resilience / IT Operational Readiness delivers governance of transition of project led changes into the LIVE environment to ensure on-going support and maintenance by the BAU teams and therefore reducing risk. Further it governs resiliency attestation exercises for the region across all technology stacks including critical business services simulating real life and data centre failure scenarios.
Duties overview:
Provide IT Operational Readiness governance to regional EMEA Projects.
Guide and track projects on applicable operational readiness aspects
Provide input into appropriate Change and Program management forums
Provide ongoing Operational readiness status reports
Support the development of non-functional service design and requirements to enable a fit for purpose support model. Including SLA & OLA management.
Support planning and scheduling Technology Resilience (DR) exercises
Work closely with internal and external partners.
Champion service management / ITIL frameworks
This role may suit an individual that has held the following roles: Operations Resilience Analyst, Service Transition Analyst, Operations Analyst, Service Management Analyst, Service Delivery Analyst, Operational Readiness Analyst.
Base salary in the region of £50k – £55k + bonus and very good benefits package in keeping with a major global banking group looking to attract and retain top talent
