Due to continued and steady growth, a Scottish-based software development agency is looking for a Digital Designer to join their established team. The business is a true product development partner helping its client digital needs through bespoke software design and development. The business works with a range of well-known companies within the utilities, telecoms, fintech and proptech markets and more, with ambitious plans for growth.

The Role:

As a Digital Designer, you would work across digital projects including digital product design, branding, pitch decks, building wireframes and evolving through to high fidelity designs. The role will include designing client platforms and mobile apps from concept to completion, whilst being able to maintain clients' existing platforms and contribute to other internal projects.

Whilst it’s not necessary that you are able to code, you should have an understanding of responsive design and how designs will look on different devices. The successful candidate will have experience with web design best practices. Ideally, you will be highly skilled in digital design with a sprinkling of UI. If you have no experience in UI – great! As long as you have a passion to upskill. It’s all about growth in this business.

Responsibilities:

Engaging with clients to determine how design can fit their needs

Maintain personal development and keep up to date with the broader design changes and improvements

Take concepts through wire-framing and on to producing high-fidelity website and app mockups

Manage handover of design to client sign-off and on to the implementation development teams

Ensure quality in the finished products by performing a QA design-led stage of projects

Managing feedback from clients during development and post-release

Minimum Requirements:

2+ years of commercial digital design experience

Knowledge of responsive design working across platforms such as web & mobile

Experience across the Adobe Creative Suite

Experience using software such as Figma or similar

UX/UI Design Experience would be a bonus, but upskilling is available
